JUNE 16TH 1867

Two letters appear in the Birmingham Gazzette. One from Thomas Aston drawing public attention to his plight. The other from the publican of the nearby “Coach and Horses” denying both the existence of a way to the church via his premises and also the rumor that Murphy was currently lodging with him.
